| New for 2009, The Unlimited Bar Project™ will show you how to build a professional looking bar using more advanced woodworking techniques, while still using basic power tools. This new design leans more toward a modular cabinet style construction approach and less on a framed structure. Each module is built separately then arranged and assembled in place. This approach allows for nearly infinite design options.
Although this project looks like it may require a high level of woodworking skill, it does not. This project is intended for anyone with basic woodworking skills but requires a bit more attention to detail than our original easy designs. It is actually easier than ever to build.
The manageable sized sections can be constructed in a workshop area and easily transported to a basement or remote home location. All modules are designed to fit through standard door openings and require only two people to carry. Once assembled, the bar is extremely sturdy.
Accepts standard residential sized kitchen sinks, ice bins and speed rails and all standard kitchen appliances such as dishwashers, kegerators and compact or medium sized refrigerators and wine chillers. Easily build optional storage drawers, shelves bins & cabinets.
Premade bar arm rail moldings are recommended for this project. | Large Seating Area:
8 1/2 feet x 10 feet! That's 18 feet of seating space! Left side of bar intended to be attached to a wall. Design is symmetrical, works for either right or left handed layout. End cap design is variable - shelving options are variable. Bar back height and section sizes are variable.
Corners options may be 90 degree, 45 degree or round. | Many configurations possible: Straight Bar in any length. L-shaped. U-shaped. Area in Bar Back for Mirror or LCD television display. Or a combination of any number of modules for an infinite selection of shapes.
|  | The bar shown above uses many of the design principles of the new Unlimited Bar design, except the 45 degree corner. The new modular bar design makes adding or even removing custom corner pieces very easy.
