I guess there is no solid proceedure to follow.
You should consider the follow stuff though.
1. You should trim the arm and foot rest overhangs from the end of the bar that will be attached to the wall so you have a solid face to face attachment surface.
2. If you are considering a keg box, plan to put the keg box in the bar section that is connected to the wall. This way, you can locate the fridge behind the wall in the adjacent room.
Measure the front of a 2 cu ft fridge (or better) with the front door removed. Locate the fridge measurement into an area that is under the attached bar section, then cout the access hole through the wall. Insert the fridge from the back room, through the hole into the keg box area of the bar.
Seal it as outlined in the kegger bar plans.
This nearly eliminates all compressor sound and saves bar room space.
As a cool idea, you could use a full size fridge (the type with a top freezer door) mount it just about flush with the finish side of the wall, then with the lower front door removed, mount it in place, then attach the bar keg box area within the lower door area. Seal it up and once the wall is finished, you would have a lower kegbox & tapper PLUS a quick bar access freezer right above.
I did exactly this with my keg box, except I used the compact fridge to just cool the keg box from behind the wall.
