      Hi guys,
I am planning to incorporate my antique tool collection in my bar theme. Has anyone ever tackled something similar? Any ideas would be welcomed. Perhaps an old carpenters workbench as a counter ??or a counter top that doubles up as a display area? I also have space on the walls and behind the bar to build some display cabinets My woodworking skills are above average and I would welcome something challenging. Please direct me to members that have done someting similar in the past.
PS I just joined this forum so I hope this posting is in the right spot

You probably have already finished your bar, but heres a suggestion. I have a new bar that opened up in town. Its called the Engine room. This guy who owns it made a really cool looking bar and tables. He actually poured a mortar, concrete mixture for the top, about three inches thick. while the concrete was still wet, he pushed all kinds of old wrenches, bolts, large sprockes, nuts, washers, ect and let them sink into the mix. He then covered the top with about 3/8″ of Envirotex, or some other Epoxy. Looks really neat. ‘The cement mixture turned kind of whiteish grey and looks great. Hope this helps.
