Bar top ideas?

    Im giving my basement an overhaul. Found some old tongue and groove paneling behind the paneling that was already up. I cut and stained that for the bar front and sides. Its pine and stained rather dark. Need some ideas for a bar top. I would like to use wood. I don’t wanna spend a fortune and I have limited wood working tools. Any suggestions?

    Should i build the top out of pine boards glued together or is there an easier way?
