I’m getting ready to build an 8′ bar with a back bar. I have not seen any plans available showing how to build a bar around a commercial beer cooler. I have a TRUE stainless steel, slide top, 37″ wide cooler that I plan on putting under the 8′ bar. I have seen pictures of bars on this site with them installed, but no reference to them in any plans. Because of its height of 34″, it will have to sit directly on the floor and have the bar built around it. Are there any drawings using this type of cooler?

Also, I have heard about using drywall instead of OSB siding as an underlayment to the outer skin of the bar. This would make it solid, but a cheaper alternative to OSB. Any thoughts on this?

      Thank you.
