Dimensions don’t match materials

I used the CBHD to customize the dimensions for my L shaped bar project. While checking the materials list I noticed part# 37 & 3701 on the consolidated cut list are listed with a 3.5″ width and .75 height yet the material is listed as 1″x 2″x 8′. The default easy L shaped bar plans also have the same issue.

Additionally, parts # 41 & 42 are listed with a 1.75″ width. Again the listed materials are 1″x 2″x 8′ when these come with a width of 1.5″. Again, the same problem exists with both the default and custom CBHD version of the easy L shaped plan.

Any help with what the correct dimensions or materials are for this plan? Is there other known known glitches with this plan. I am beginning to doubt using the plans after noticing this.

Go with the callout, not the CHBD. The parts you mention are just optional final trim boards that are not even shown in the assembly diagrams. You can trim out the back of the bar any way you wish using any materials you like.
