Is it me or did the kegger bar plans call for a double tap system. I look now and it’s single.

Anyway…. if they call for single, can it accomodate a double tap system with 2 5 gallon kegs in the fridge?

        Thom71…

No, just a single is specified, BUT!

If you increase the width of the keg box and add plenty of circulation
        you could cool 2 kegs.

If I were doing this myself, I would carefully strip the guts from a full sized fridge, then mount them as required, then add double fans blowing across the freezer plate.

I’m waiting to find an old fridge, to do just that for the site.

        Keep me posted.

I’m in the middle of building a double box right now…using what was my keg-o-rater (could hold a single 1/4 keg) as the fridge source.

Some problems I have run into (but have overcome)

          1. I decided to put the tower over the opening in the top of my keg-o-rator…this means the tower must be in an exact spot. Which means I had to cut the whole before I pour the EnviroLite. I plan on letting the EnviroLite flow around the tower.

          2. I used a 2″ PVC Pipe to go up into the tap tower. Did plenty of test fits and everything worked great…until I went to install it. When I put the beer lines on, the increased widith of the nuts would not fit! I had to turn the nuts in such a way that flat sides fit next to each other…then you could hear the nuts scratching all the way down!

Could you have run the hoses one at a time?
These must be pretty but nuts to not fit inside a 2″ PVC…
            Got a photo?

The hoses themselves wern’t the problem…it’s the connection to the tower. The tower I got has two metal tubes running from the spigit to the base with connection points for the beer lines. Here was where I had to carfully position the nuts to fit flat with each other.
