I can’t find the R5.5 that the plans are calling for. I’m wondering what a solid replacement would be? Someone told me R10 in the 2″ sheets would be suitable but I’m concerned that it won’t do the trick.
here are 2 links for the foam insulation that you can use, either use the 1 1/2 doubled as the plans call for, or if you want more R value, use 3 1″. the 1 1/2″ has a 5.78 R value, where the 1″ has a 6.5 R value
