Since this was posted in Feb, have you finished your top and how did it work out? I am getting ready to finish mine. I have a 3/4″ MDF plywood base, and will glue laminate flooring to the base, then finish with Envirotex. I spoke with customer service for the flooring that I have, but they would not give any recommendations if my idea would work since this is a non-standard application for the flooring. I guess I will soon know.
