      Tims words:
The plan is to put a double tap tower on it so I can dispense 2 different home brews at a time, and finish it in a tiki look with bamboo & thatch. This is gonna be fun!

      Steves words:
I’d be interest to see the result.
Added a double tap would only require moving the fridge to the right about 18 more inches then
adding a few more fans to the inside of the keg box. Remember, without the fans, it won’t keep
      a glass of water cold.

My fans are powered by an old PC switching power supply. One day a power outage knock out the supply

(toggled it’s solid state switch to off) and 8 hours later, the keg box ramped up to 46F! (from 34F)

this was due to the compressor working overtime (I Raytek’ed it and it was well over 120F!) and the radiated

heat from the compressor was passing into the fridge. I switched the fans on and within the hour, it was back to normal.

Did you recomend moving the tap since there will be a second keg in there? The kegs I use are 5 gallon corny kegs, which are 8″ diameter and 25″ tall. Seems like they take up a lot less floor space than do standard kegs, and therefore shouldn’t have to move tower over like you recomended. Am I missing something?

So the fans inside blow the cold air around. . . . Is it ok to leave the freezer compartment closed on the 2.7 cu-ft fridge, so I can have icecubes in there?

The fans outside which blow on the coils/compressor. . . . . Seems like it might make sense to tie them into compressor voltage line, so those fans only blow when compressor is running. Just a thought, might keep things quieter, at least half of the time.

        thanks!
