I’m going to build the ‘easy’ L shaped bar (EHBP-02 L-Shaped Bar) outside under a covered patio (sitting on concrete).
I really only need pressure treated lumber for what’s going to be touching the ground. Even that is probably overkill (given how much water actually makes it to this area when it rains) – but better safe than sorry.
My plan is to use pressure treated for everything in step “1B”. Was curious to get feedback?

Just what touches the concrete…and yeah, even that is overkill. A good coat of Thompson’s water seal can also suffice.
I used Trex for the footrest…that gets a lot of wear.
