I used standard offset hinges. And sash locks.

Put a remote outdoor sensor in the box and the display outside. It gives me both the room temp and box temp. $10 from walmart.

Built mine a little larger than specs. I have no trouble getting it to 37.

I doubled the amount of foam board. Used a 1.1 cu ft freezer and 2 usb powered fans. Before the fans, wouldn’t go below 41.

Try adding another layer of 3/4 inch foam inside the box. Duct tape all joints also.

here are 2 links for the foam insulation that you can use, either use the 1 1/2 doubled as the plans call for, or if you want more R value, use 3 1″. the 1 1/2″ has a 5.78 R value, where the 1″ has a 6.5 R value
