I went with the varnish. After several coats it is looking good. Now I am wondering if i need to “sand” the final coat with ultra ultra (the finest I can find at lowes “0000”) fine steel wool, or is it fine unsanded? If I do sand it do I then wipe it with something? to restore the shine after its sanded?
