It can be done, almost, you’ll lose 2.5 inches off one of the sheets, but it’s on the back side and hidden by the backsplash.

        Measure twice, cut once.
Even when working with plans, and especially when modifying those plans, it’s best to visualize the whole project to be sure the end result sizes make sense.

Trex works well for the footrest….even the bar rail.

Just what touches the concrete…and yeah, even that is overkill. A good coat of Thompson’s water seal can also suffice.
I used Trex for the footrest…that gets a lot of wear.

January 23 2022 and we are still dealing with this COVID BS.
Most bars are open, and the NFL games are at full capacity (although we are bummed about last night’s Packer loss to SF) but the media’s rona hysteria continues.

Gas prices are at or above $3.00 / gallon, food prices are way up.

Home Depot Lumber prices: 1/2″ OSB sheets are about $30. I remember when they were $8.
2 x 4 construction studs are about $6 each. I remember when those were about 2 or 3 bucks each.

It still makes sense to build a home bar in preparation for the next “pandemic”.

Beer is still under $20 / case about $17 or $18 in my area.

                        Carry on.

In the project manager, you resize each leg by selecting the section, editing that section and saving. Be sure to save after editing each leg. The red/green dot indicates if the save was made successfully. What plan set are you working with?

Plans can be “nominally” resized, not infinitely resized. The B section is not resizable simply because any resizing would complicate the angles and distort the intended shape of the B section. This section is intended to be fixed in size with the leg section A and C resizable to fit available space.

What many people do when modifying this design is to either eliminate either the A or C leg completely or add simple “wings: using the framing method demonstrated in the plans. Take a look through the gallery for some great examples.
